|Description||This market, founded in 1615 and located in the area called Le Marais, is known to be the oldest market in Paris. It was supposed to be torn down in 1995 and replaced by a car park. But thanks to the local population this place has been saved. Now you can do groceries there or have a lunch in one of the numerous market restaurants. Middle-Eastern, Italian, Afro-Caribbean, Moroccan or Japanese, you can taste food from all around the globe. And at a descent price! It is also a great place to have a drink during sunny days.
